Jones: Cowboys “Won’t Be Active” For NFL Trade Deadline

DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) – With rumors swirling that Cowboys RB Tashard Choice could possibly be traded before the NFL  trade deadline today, owner/CEO Jerry Jones says “No, we won’t be active” and adding that  “We’ve been asked about Tashard Choice from two different teams. Anytime anybody calls you, you can give it some thought. But with the injury to Felix (Jones) I don’t see us trading Tashard.”

Today during the Jerry Jones Show on 105.3 The Fan Jones also explained why he felt the need to call out Head Coach Jason Garrett publicly after the loss to the Patriots. “Well, I think that we’ve got in this particular case, you’re after a ball game and everyone’s mad as hell (citing emotions.) If I had to do it again, I wouldn’t do it period. I said it before that this was a flip of the coin (the outcome of the game).”
