Feds Kicking In Money For Fort Worth Trinity Uptown Bridges
FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Construction can start on two of the three Trinity Uptown bridges near downtown Fort Worth.
Congresswoman Kay Granger announced today that $23 million in federal funding will help pay for the bridge work. The North Central Texas Council of Governments and the City of Fort Worth are also contributing money.
The bridges will be located along Henderson and North Main Streets.

The Regional Transportation Council has found 15 million dollars in Federal money to build the new Main Street and Henderson Street bridges.
Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price says it’s part of the massive Trinity River Vision project that will bring hundreds of jobs
The new Henderson Street bridge over the Trinity should be completed next fall, the Main Street Bridge the following Summer.
