AUSTIN (AP)  The Texas Longhorns had a week off to figure out who to play at quarterback and how to end a five-game home losing streak in the Big 12.

The quarterback question may take all season to resolve. The losing could end Saturday night when the Longhorns (4-2, 1-2 Big 12) host a Kansas team struggling through a miserable season.

Texas coach Mack Brown says the he could start freshman David Ash again. Or the Longhorns could go back to sophomore Case McCoy.

Or they could go back to the rotating quarterback system that won three games in a row.

Kansas (2-5, 0-4) wishes quarterback was its only problem. The Jayhawks have lost five in a row and are giving up an average of 50 points per game.
