DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) –  Head Coach Jason Garrett has repeatedly said that the Cowboys’ O-line is having problems this season, but owner/CEO Jerry Jones does not have the same grim picture. Today on the Jerry Jones Show he said, “I like what we’re doing. I think that we certainly can do better, as opposed to what we did against Philadelphia. I’m pleased to have the veterans in [Derrick] Dockery and Montrae [Holland] and some of the young guys we have. You could argue that [Phil] Costa had a good game.”

Even following the huge 34-7 loss to the Eagles, Jerry keeps his cool saying he’s not concerned…yet. “I liked the way our guys competed. I thought in the second half we could and would have a chance to come back. I am glad that we will have a chance to redeem ourselves and play them [Philadelphia] again. He adamantly and abruptly reasserted that he “just wasn’t” alarmed.

But when asked if public expectations should being lowered for his team, compared to the other Dallas pro-teams he said “I think that when we have a quarterback that in my persepective when is healthy [Tony] Romo, that can play at the level that I believe he can play at, I don’t think you ought to lower your expectations. We have the opportunity to be a good team. Consequently, [he sees the opportunity in being a good team when] I look at the make up of our team.”
