Body Of Dallas Woman Found In Burning Car

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Dallas Police are looking for clues in the death of a woman found early Friday morning in a burning car on Preston Road in far North Dallas.

Friends describe 22-year-old Elizabeth Lightfoot as a beautiful young woman. She was a hair stylist
who worked the past four months at Salon Republic on Preston Road, not far from where her body was found.

Before that, she was at Salon D for a year and a half. The owner described her as “an angel” who didn’t have any enemies.  However, he thinks she may have fallen in with the wrong crowd.

“You know, sometimes she was hanging around, to me, what looked like not the right type of people to hang around with,” said Ardem Keshishian.

Friends say she was at Yourway Burgers in Farmers Branch until about 12:30 Thursday night. Her burning car was found on the 16,000 block of Preston Road around 2 o’clock Friday morning.

Her family describes her as beautiful inside and out. They ask anyone with information to call police.lightfoot1 Body Of Dallas Woman Found In Burning Car

She was definitely gorgeous–look at those eyes. I hope the police find the person responsible for her death and that person receives the death penalty.

What’s sad is all of the comment’s about how attractive this young lady was. If she were three hundred pounds would that devalue who she was as a person? This world is so upside down it’s just sad. May her family get justice and find peace.

No, it wouldn’t be any less tragic, but now is not the time to discuss that. Her family could very well read the comments, and they are hurting.

    2. Cheryl Cheney Fox says:

I agree! I also send prayers to her loved ones.

  3. Sumi says:

RIP Elizabeth. My condolences to the Lightfoot family.

  4. Donger says:

The owner has stereotypes about people with tattoos, that’s why he said “appeared to him as a wrong crowd” Elizabeth’s has tattoos on her back with 3 owls and the middle has a Halo-represents her older brother who passed away. All of her friends has tattoos, to include her boyfriend who also has tattoos.
Speaking from a friend who has known her for more than 3 years.

Byron–you are a moron. Go back to the basement and hide under your rock.

  6. Gwen Hardison says:

My sincerest condolences to the Lightfoot family. Please find the killer. May she rest in peace now and be in heaven with her brother, Louis.

Tatoos serve for different reasons – but when they are gang related we can say more about that individual

There is also reason to belive some of these same people were involved in another heinous murder in Garland in 2003
