Fort Worth Attorney Says Don’t Wait For Health Care Law

By Chuck Schechner, NewsRadio 1080 KRLD

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – Questions, confusion and reluctance surround the federal legislation and a North Texas attorney is sounding a wake up call for employers.

Quitman Stephens, a partner in the Cantey Hanger law firm, is taking his message to local industry. He says don’t count on the success of lawsuits trying to kill health care reform.

Stephens says it takes full effect January 2014, but now is the time to get ready.

He says even if the lawsuits against it are successful, they may only strike down portions of the law.

Stephens says once this goes into effect, and Americans get a taste of it they won’t want to give it up, much like Social Security and Medicare.

What an idiot. Is it not ironic that he used a failed government program that is almost bankrupt in reference to another federal program that is destined to bankrupt us. Personally I have made a vow, I refuse to be forced into something I dont need and cant afford. Put me in jail, but Obama can kiss my ass.

Employers will just lay more people off so they won’t have to spend the money to insure them. I’ve already seen employers who just won’t hire workers, in order to keep their staff count below the number that would subject them to the “employer mandate”.

this lawyer is obviously a paid obama staffer.

What I don’t want to give up is my freedom and rights.
