DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – On Thursday, investigators issued a more recent photo of the 22-year-old hair stylist who was found dead inside her burning car last week in the hopes that someone recognized her on the night she was killed.

Previous photos of Elizabeth Lightfoot featured her with blonde hair. Investigators say her hair was a dark shade of brown the night she was killed.

Detectives say Lightfoot was seen at 12 a.m. on Nov. 4 at a Tom Thumb at 14999 Preston Road. She was found two hours later inside her burning car near a ravine in the 16000 block of Preston Road.

The medical examiner later ruled that she died from smoke inhalation. Oak Farms Dairy has offered a $10,000 reward for anyone with information leading to the arrest of the person or people involved.

All tips can remain anonymous. Tipsters are asked to call the department’s homicide division at 214.671.3662. A photo of a car similar to the Mazda she was found in is below.
