DALLAS (AP) – With three weeks left in the Big 12’s first round-robin schedule, the league’s automatic BCS berth could come down to one game.

Second-ranked Oklahoma State and No. 5 Oklahoma play in the regular season finale. With no more Big 12 championship game, the winner of that Dec. 3 game at Oklahoma State will be headed to the BCS — if the Sooners don’t slip up before then.

While No. 16 Kansas State could still tie for the regular-season conference title, the Wildcats are out of the mix for the automatic BCS bid because of losses to both Oklahoma State and Oklahoma.

The Wildcats, Baylor and Texas are already bowl eligible while Missouri, Texas A&M, Iowa State and Texas Tech each need only one more win to give the league nine bowl teams.
