LUBBOCK (AP)  Texas Tech’s streak of bowl-eligible seasons going back to 1993 could be coming to an end.

The Red Raiders need to beat No. 21 Baylor on Saturday in Arlington, Texas, to get the six wins necessary to become bowl eligible. Even if they beat the Bears (7-3), there may not be a bowl for them to go to. There are already eight Big 12 teams with six wins.

Coach Tommy Tuberville said the team is focused on beating the Bears. He says other conferences might not be able to fill their bowl berths.

Since beating then-No. 3 Oklahoma last month the Red Raiders (5-6) have lost four straight.
