DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – The Dallas Police Department announced Wednesday it has arrested two more suspects in last week’s death at a DART light rail station.
The two, ages 12 and 14, were arrested Wednesday. Two other children were arrested last week, bringing the number of suspects to 4.
The suspects are accused of assaulting 19-year-old Octavius Lanier at DART’s MLK station near Fair Park. They pushed Lanier in to an oncoming train, dragging him to his death.
Lanier’s mother Takesha Harper told CBS 11 last week the group was trying to steal Lanier’s iPod.
The four have been charged with Capital Murder.
