ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) – Shots rang out in the parking lot of the Skybox Sports Club early Sunday morning, leaving a man dead from a gunshot wound to the head, a spokesman said.

Arlington PD spokeswoman Tiara Richard said police arrived at the club in the 1100 block of Collins at about 12:30 a.m. and found a man in his mid-twenties dead at the scene.

Richard said an initial investigation found the victim was involved in a fight inside the club. Security kicked the victim and the suspects out of the club.

Richard said the man was shot in the head while getting inside a vehicle. Neither the victim nor suspects have been identified.

This is the city’s 20^th homicide this year, Richard added.
