SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AP) – Justin Blackmon returned to Oklahoma State for a chance to win a Big 12 title, beat rival Oklahoma and play in a BCS bowl.
Those goals accomplished, there isn’t much left for him at the college level.
The second two-time winner of the Biletnikoff Award as the nation’s top receiver, Blackmon is expected to play his final game for the Cowboys against Stanford in the Fiesta Bowl Monday night.
The junior bypassed a chance at the NFL last season and was superb in his return, catching 113 passes for 1,336 yards and 15 touchdowns against almost constant double teams. He will likely leave Stillwater as Oklahoma State’s second all-time leading receiver despite playing just three seasons.
