FORT WORTH (AP) – Fort Worth school trustees are ready to name the finalist in their search for a new superintendent.
An announcement will be released Tuesday once the district re-opens for business following the long holiday weekend.
Interim superintendent Walter Dansby, a graduate of Dunbar High School and a long-time teacher, coach and administrator in Fort Worth public schools, was one of the applicants but no information has leaked as to whether he will be named to the top job permanently.
The new superintendent will be expected to start work in March.
