DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – “Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close” opens nationwide this weekend. It stars Tom Hanks & Sandra Bullock as a family coping with loss after 9/11.

The real star of this movie is Thomas Horn, who plays their son. This is Thomas’ very first acting job, unless you count his time on “Jeopardy: Kids.”

Steven Soderbergh’s new movie “Haywire” is also in theaters this weekend. It stars Gina Carano, who is a Mixed Martial Arts Champion in real life. The movie is OK, but we’d like to see Gina take on Jason Bourne in the sequel.

We’ve got the local show times (ELICHaywire) or watch the trailers for these movies, but first hear what KRLD Film Critic Julie Fisk has to say about “Haywire” and “Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.”
