GRAPEVINE (CBSDFW.COM) - The Texan Trail Bridge that crosses over Highway 114 will remain closed for at least a week while engineers make sure the bridge is safe for drivers.
Inspections are being done after an oversized truck crashed into the bridge yesterday in Grapevine.
The truck was carrying a large piece of construction equipment when it struck the bridge.
One side of the Texan Trail Bridge was already scheduled for demolition as part of the DFW Connector Project.
Demolition will go on as scheduled in two weeks.
The other side is likely to reopen late next week after the inspections are finished.
