AUSTIN (CBSDFW.COM/AP) - Organizers have announced a new four-day comedy festival to take place in Austin this April.

The headliners include Seth Meyers, Aziz Ansari and Steven Wright with more than 20 other comics scheduled to perform. The event is called the Moontower Comedy and Oddity Festival and will be based at the historic Paramount Theater from April 25-28.

Performances include stand-up, improve, sketch and musical comedy and there will also be a film festival.

Austin’s calendar is filling up with festivals, including the South by Southwest music, film and interactive festival in March and the outdoor Austin City Limits music festival in the fall. And with the city being just three hours away from the Metroplex (give or take), there is now even more fun stuff for North Texans to do within the state.
