NEW YORK (CBS NEWS) - “Angry Birds” is blasting into space!

The popular mobile game is launching “Angry Birds Space” on March 22. “Angry Birds” developers Rovio announced the game last week and released a teaser trailer.

A bona fide phenomenon, the app is a physics-based game that shoots birds from a slingshot to destroy buildings and take down green pigs. As the game progresses, the structures become more complex.

“Angry Birds Space” will be the fourth installment of the series and will join “Angry Birds,” “Angry Birds Seasons” and “Angry Birds Rio.”
