FRISCO (Sports Network) - Dallas Stars center Jamie Benn will return to the lineup Wednesday after missing the previous six games with a leg injury.
Benn, who was cut on the left thigh by the skate of Calgary defenseman Mark Giordano on February 16, went through a full practice Tuesday and stated he was ready to rejoin the team.
“Practice went well, I felt really good,” Benn said. “I think I’ll be a player tomorrow. I’ve told the coaches I’m ready to go.”
The 22-year-old Benn has 17 goals and 49 points in 52 games played this season.
