6 DFW Girls Basketball Teams Shoot For State Titles

AUSTIN (CBSDFW.COM) – The Duncanville Pantherettes and five other Dallas-Fort Worth area girls high school basketball teams play for state championships on Saturday in Austin.

Morgan Bolton and Ariel Atkins combined for 30 points as Duncanville (39-1) beat Cypress Falls 64-40 in Friday’s Class 5A state semifinals and will now play for its 7th all-time girls basketball state championship on Saturday night.

Here’s Saturday’s schedule in Austin:
Class 5A
8:30 p.m. – Duncanville vs. Spring Dekaney
Class 4A
3:30 p.m. – Mansfield Summit vs. Rockwall
Class 3A
10:00 a.m. – Celina vs. Abilene Wylie
Class 2A
2:00 p.m. – Brock vs. Poth
Class A
7:00 p.m. – Lipan vs. Neches
