NEW YORK (CBS NEWS) – If you want to feel inadequate (or maybe just short), try walking next to Cindy Crawford. She still has everything that made her a supermodel, but that famous face is now a brand.

In the celebrity endorsement world, Cindy Crawford is a major player — there’s a deal with Omega watches, a home furnishings line at JCPenney and if you’ve ever had insomnia, you’ve probably seen her infomercial.

Of course, she still does that modeling thing, too. But for the multi-millionaire/pitchwoman/wife/mother of two, there isn’t a lot of down time. “When my kids were little, if they saw me getting my hair and makeup done, they would start crying because they knew that that meant that I was leaving the house!” she laughed.

“Did that kill you?” asked CBS contributor Tracy Smith.

“Are you kidding? When my kids were little, going to work was a vacation, right?” she replied. “I would go to a shoot at 9:00 a.m. and I would sit in the hair and makeup chair and I would be like, ‘Ahhhhh.’ It was like a spa day for me!”

Cindy Crawford is a wealthy woman. I feel if you can afford to stay home with your kids you should. When they are that young and insecure (obviously) that’s the time they need their mother. Put your stupid career on hold and stay with your kids until they are older.

She proves, to some extent, that age is just a number. I haven’t read about the parenting yet.

Her comment about getting away from the kids rates. My mother was a smoker, sometimes too loud, and an honest parent. She did her best for us and did more upon recollection.

She didn’t always edit what came out of her mouth and it is good that Cindy doesn’t either. Who in the hell wants to be around kids all the time?

Thanks to Botox and make-up, even the wicked, witch of the west could look good. I am getting tired of hearing how good looking, etc these people are, at there age.
