TCU Edges Oklahoma State 6-5 In 10 Innings

FORT WORTH (AP) – Davy Wright doubled in the winning run with two outs in the 10th inning, lifting TCU to a 6-5 win against Oklahoma State on Sunday.

Wright scored the tying run with two outs in the bottom of the ninth when Jason Coats’ pop-up bounced off of Oklahoma State catcher Jared Womack’s glove.

Wright then doubled off of closer Gabe Weidenaar (0-1) to bring in Jerrick Suiter with the winning run.

Kaleb Merck (1-0) got the win in relief for the Horned Frogs (4-6), who will join the Cowboys in the Big 12 next season. TCU scored all six of its runs with two outs.

Womack had three hits, including a go-ahead solo home run in the fifth inning, for Oklahoma State (6-6) before missing the potential game-ending pop-up.
