McKINNEY (CBSDFW.COM) – The Blockbuster movie and videogame rental chain continues to shrink.

The company plans to close its distribution center in McKinney on May 7.

According to a Blockbuster filing with the Texas Workforce Commission, the closure will mean the elimination of some 170 jobs.

The distribution center closing will not affect staff at the company’s headquarters, also in McKinney.
