Ennis Gets New Fire Truck, Replaces One Lost To Magnablend Fire

ENNIS (CBSDFW.COM) – The City of Ennis has a new fire truck to replace the one lost in last October’s fire at the Magnablend chemical plant in Waxahachie.

The old truck, a 1988 model, was burned up and swamped with chemical runoff in that fire.

The new one is a 2012 model engine.  It cost about $1.1 million.  Insurance on the destroyed truck paid for the new one.
