Dallas Man To Die For Killing 10-Month-Old Boy

HUNTSVILLE (AP) – Jesse Joe Hernandez already was a convicted child sex offender when he was arrested for the horrendous beating death of a 10-month-old boy he was babysitting at a Dallas home.

Little Karlos Borjas had a skull fracture amid bruises to his head, thigh and abdomen when he was taken off life support after a week in a Dallas hospital. His 4-year-old sister also was attacked but survived injuries to her head, ear and right eye.

The 47-year-old Hernandez is set for execution Wednesday evening in Huntsville for the baby’s death 11 years ago.

His lawyers are appealing to the U.S. Supreme Court to stop the punishment.

The lethal injection would be the fourth this year in Texas.

He deserves this punishment. Why would a lawyer want to appeal the death of a baby killer is beyond me; must be good money I suppose. If this had been my baby he had murdered, he would not have waited 11 years to be killed.

I also do not understand why a lawyer would want to save a person that killed a baby, and then abused the baby’s sister – Has this lawyer have no children of his own, must not, or he would have to feel different

I completely agree! I am speculating a public defender that was appointed to this man. Still must be sad to have to defend people who don’t deserve there life anymore. Poor baby boy.

The mother should have been charged for leaving her children in the care of a convicted sex offender. She’s an accessory to the murder of her own child.
