The owner of the pickup, Jose Martinez, said heard the crash and ran outside.
“I heard a big noise. I come outside and I got surprised because I see my truck way over there.”
Martinez’ pickup was pushed from the street back into his neighbor’s front yard.
According to Sgt. Criado the bus driver said, “She was awoken after the crash, after the bus collided with the truck.”
The bus driver received minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment and evaluation to try and determine why she passed out.
