WYLIE (CBSDFW.COM) – A 15-year-old Wylie High School student was found shot and killed in the street of the 600 block of Linden Ave. at about 5:30 a.m. Saturday, a police spokesman said.

Detective Venece Perepiczka said the boy was identified as Nahum Martinez. His body was found near the intersection of Linden Ave. and Westgate Way.

Police say that have arrested two male teenagers, both 14-years-old, suspected in the murder.

At noon, a crime scene was active around a residence in the 400 block of Oxford Dr., located about a block from where Martinez was found. Later Saturday afternoon, Perepiczka said the two suspects were arrested at the home.

He said officers found evidence of a disturbance at the home and that investigators believe Martinez was there before he was shot.

A gun was found in a nearby field. Police say they believe it is the murder weapon.
