WEATHERFORD (CBSDFW.COM) – A Silver Alert for a missing 78-year-old Weatherford man has been canceled.
An alert citizen recognized William Molfetto at an area store and contacted authorities. A Parker County Sheriff’s Office deputy arrived and confirmed the man was Molfetto.
Police had begun their search for the elderly man just after 6 a.m.
Molfetto, a resident at Keenland Nursing Home, has Alzheimer’s and left the nursing home on foot.
Law enforcement and health officials were concerned because they believed Molfetto’s health and safety was in danger.
Mr. Molfetto is said to be in good condition.
