ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) – Police say a man inside a pickup truck shot and killed another man following a fight that spilled out of a pool hall in the 2700 block of Majesty Dr. early Sunday morning.

Arlington Police spokeswoman Tiara Richard said witnesses told investigators that the altercation began inside the business and continued into the parking lot at about 2 a.m.

Investigators say a man sitting in the passenger side of a red pickup truck shot at a group of men in the parking lot. One victim was taken to Dallas Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth and was pronounced dead.

He was identified as Zadric Walker, 22. Two other men suffered non-life threatening injuries, Richard said. One of those victims drove himself to John Peter Smith Hospital in his own vehicle while the other was taken to Arlington Memorial in an ambulance.

They have not been identified.

The suspects have not been located, nor did Arlington PD provide a description. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Byron Stewart at 817.459.5691 or Crime Stoppers at 817.469.8477.

All tips can remain anonymous. This is the city’s sixth homicide this year.
