KAUFMAN COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) – More than 200 acres were burned during a grass fire Saturday afternoon.
The fire was Northwest of the city of Kemp.
Kaufman County Fire Marshal Larry Ewing said it took about two and half hours for fire fighters from 10 different departments to put out the fire.
Firefighters do not know what started the fire.
There have been no reports of injuries or of buildings damaged being from the fire.
