NEW YORK (Sports Network) - Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton continues to hold the overall lead in All-Star voting for the American League and is one of four Texas players who top the balloting at their position.

Hamilton had 3,833,504 votes in the second update from Major League Baseball released Monday.

He led all players in both leagues in the first update last week. New numbers for the National League will be released Tuesday.

Tigers first baseman Prince Fielder, Rangers second baseman Ian Kinsler, Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter, Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre, Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz and Rangers catcher Mike Napoli also led their positions.

Curtis Granderson of the Yankees and Nelson Cruz of the Rangers were second and third in balloting for outfielders. Cruz, Jose Bautista of the Blue Jays and Adam Jones of the Orioles were separated by around 80,000 votes for the third spot.

The All-Star Game will be played July 10 at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City.
