McKINNEY (CBSDFW.COM) – A Collin County judge has handed down the punishment for a group home care provider caught abusing a special needs resident on camera.
Michael Fuller received 8 years probation, but will serve 60 days in jail.

Fuller was found guilty to one count of injury to a disabled person. He testified in Friday’s sentencing hearing, apologizing and saying he snapped and had never treated anyone like that before .
The beating was caught on a camera hidden by Taylor Hartley’s parents inside the special needs home. On the video, Fuller could be seen hitting the 22-year-old special needs man with a toy gun.
