DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - An 18-year-old man has been killed and two women injured after a drive-by shooting in southeast Dallas early this morning.

Police were called to the Creekside Village Apartments, in the 300 block of North Jim Miller Road, around 12:45 a.m. on a report of shots fired.  When they arrived, they found three people had been hit.

The Dallas County Medical Examiner has identified the deceased as 18-year-old LaDarius Williams of Dallas.  The two women, who were not identified, were taken to Baylor Medical Center in Dallas with non-life threatening injuries.

“Witnesses stated an unknown type SUV vehicle drove through and fired multiple shots into a small crowd gathered outside an apartment,” said Dallas Police Senior Corporal Gerardo Monreal.    “The unknown suspect vehicle speed off … in an unknown direction.”

Homicide detectives interviewed witnesses and are now following up on leads, Monreal said.

Nothing is known about a motive for the shootings at this time.
