DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) – He’s been referred to by former Cowboys coach Tom Landry as “possibly the best combination of a passer, an athlete and a leader to ever play in the NFL.”  it’s the one and only #12, former Cowboys QB Roger Staubach!

Roger joined Elf & Slater and gave some interesting views on the NFL and how they are handling concussions with current and former players. “I don’t think they (the NFL) were doing anything intentionally, but they didn’t understand the impact of them” said Satubach on 105.3 The Fan.

Staubach admitted to suffering at least 8 concussions himself and has not joined in on any of the ongoing lawsuits. “I knew what I was getting into with [playing] the game” he said.

As a team leader, Roger also shared his views on what he thinks is happening with Dez Bryant, based on what has been released in the media and how it may effect the dynamic of the Cowboys going into training camp in Oxnard.
