LOS ANGELES (CBS NEWS) - Here’s the story, of a man named Brady… and another man named Vince.
CBS is developing a new take on “The Brady Bunch” from executive producer Vince Vaughn. The network has committed to a script order for the multi-camera comedy, which will be produced by CBS Television Studios.
This new version centers on Bobby Brady, a divorced dad who marries a woman with children of her own. The couple also shares a child, and ex-spouses are still part of their lives. Mike Mariano (“Raising Hope”) will write and executive produce the new project. Lloyd Schwartz, son of the original “Brady Bunch” creator Sherwood Schwartz, will also serve as an executive producer, alongside Vaughn, Victoria Vaughn (the actor’s sister) and Peter Billingsley.
The original “Brady Bunch” ran on ABC from 1969-1974.
