DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – A CBS 11 News source with Dallas Police says Former Dallas city Councilwoman Sandra Crenshaw was arrested at the downtown Dallas public Library Friday.
As reported first on CBS 11 News at 6, Crenshaw was arrested on an outstanding warrant for theft involving a vehicle.
According to the Dallas Police source, Crenshaw failed to return a rented car at the time it was due.
When police arrived at the library to arrest her, Crenshaw claimed she was having medical issues. She was transported by police to Baylor Dallas where she remains under observation.
Crenshaw will be transported to the Lew Sterret Justice Center after she is released.
