Jeff’s Quick Weather Update

Storms have been quite persistent this morning…drifting south through parts of North Texas. Storms have been most widespread in Collin and Dallas counties. We’ve seen some gusty winds and lightning, but storms are so far staying well below severe limits.

The temperatures have been held down as a result of the rain…we will struggle to get back to 100° today…with many areas only seeing upper 90s for a change.

We’ll continue with scattered storms into the afternoon…there will be a few stronger storms later today capable of producing strong winds and maybe pocket change hail.
