NEW YORK (AP) - Watch and accessories company Fossil Inc. has named John White as executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Richardson-based Fossil on Wednesday announced White’s appointment, effective Sept. 4. He succeeds Michael Barnes, who left Fossil in September 2010 to become CEO of Signet Jewelers Ltd.
White most recently served as president of Pandora North America, a division of Danish jewelry company Pandora A/S.
White will be responsible for Fossil’s supply chain, distribution and warehousing, legal and information technology operations, with a focus on long-term strategy.
Fossil earlier this month announced that its second-quarter net income climbed 12 percent, driven by growing demand in Asia and strong watch sales.
