SANSOM PARK (CBSDFW.COM) – The city of Sansom Park has issued a boil water notice due to a large water main break.

City officials say in a statement that the water main has been repaired, but citizens and businesses will need to boil water prior to consumption.

All water used for cooking, drinking or making ice must be boiled for two minutes and then cooled prior to use.

The city will release a statement when the water is safe for consumption.

UPDATE: The city of Sansom Park has issued a statement rescinding the boil water notice effective Monday, August 20 at 3:30 pm.
