DALLAS (AP) - Convenience-store giant 7-Eleven Inc. has bought 74 operating stores, mostly in West Virginia, and two land parcels from a licensee.
Dallas-based 7-Eleven on Monday did not disclosed financial terms of the deal with Prima Marketing LLC.
7-Eleven has extended job offers to about 700 store personnel and district managers, contingent on pre-employment screening. The chain also plans to offer jobs to some non-store employees.
7-Eleven currently has 21 stores in West Virginia, 172 in Pennsylvania and 10 in Ohio. It plans to open at least 630 new stores this year. It has 9,400 in North America.
