ARLINGTON (AP) - The Dallas Cowboys are finally home.
After 3 1/2 weeks in California for training camp, two preseason games and two days of practices with the San Diego Chargers, the Cowboys worked out for two hours Thursday at Cowboys Stadium.
Coach Jason Garrett says training camp is now behind the Cowboys. The coach says they are a different team than when they reported to Oxnard, Calif., the last weekend of July.
Dallas has two preseason games in five days at Cowboys Stadium. The first is Saturday night against St. Louis, during which quarterback Tony Romo and other healthy starters are expected to get their most extensive playing time of the preseason.
The Cowboys weren’t in pads for Thursday’s session, which was open to the public.
