Former Baylor Athlete Indicted In Assault Case

WACO (AP) - Former Baylor defensive end Tevin Elliott has been indicted in a sexual assault investigation in Texas.
A McLennan County grand jury Monday indicted Elliott on three counts of sexual assault. Investigators say two counts involved an alleged assault April 15 during a party in Waco.
The Waco Tribune-Herald reports details on the other count were sealed because Elliott had not been arrested in that case.
Elliott attorney Jason Darling says the initial allegations are untrue and the sexual encounter was consensual. Darling was unaware of allegations in a second case.
Elliott had 63 tackles and eight sacks in two seasons with Baylor. He was suspended April 27 for unspecified team violations and arrested April 30. Elliott was freed on $10,000 bond.
He later transferred to Central Arkansas.
