ARLINGTON (AP) - Six Flags Over Texas has announced plans for a 400-foot tall swing ride.
The entertainment park in Arlington on Thursday said the Texas SkyScreamer will debut in 2013. The ride will be capable of carrying 24 guests in open-air swings that will soar in a 124-foot circle.
Six Flags earlier this summer announced the Texas Chute Out drop ride and the Flashback steel coaster will be closed following Labor Day. The Texas Chute Out opened in 1976. Flashback opened in 1989.
Six Flags Over Texas is operated by Six Flags Entertainment Corp.
