dfw Sanders: Early Mistakes Killed The CowboysBest Young Athlete In DFW?

DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) – “It’s sort of like waking up in the morning and getting slapped, from nowhere” said Deion Sanders talking about the Dallas Cowboys loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

“You don’t have the team with the mentality to bounce back from turbulence like that, they’re not that type of team right now” said Sanders when talking with 105.3 The Fan Shan Shariff.

Naturally after a loss the attention turns to the coach and Jason Garrett is the easy target for blame, but Sanders disclaims that the Cowboys weren’t ready to play but that they were not prepared to handle the early setbacks.

“Holding them to 3 points, after the fumble, that’s an accomplishment,” said Sanders. But the early mistakes are what killed the Cowboys, “You have two turnovers on Special Teams, you are not going to win.”
