DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – “Trouble with the Curve” stars Clint Eastwood as an aging baseball scout who gets career help from his estranged daughter, played by Amy Adams.
This is the first time Clint Eastwood has starred in a movie that he didn’t direct in almost 20 years. That was 1993’s “In the Line of Fire.” Eastwood said that he would retire from acting after “Gran Torino,” but long-time collaborator and friend Robert Lorenz was able to talk him into this one. “Trouble with the Curve” is Lorenz’s directorial debut.
