Fort Worth Child Molester Added To 10 Most Wanted List
NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A convicted Fort Worth child molester has been added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender list.
A $3,000 cash reward is now being offered for information leading to the capture of Juan Alfredo Gandarilla.
The 43-year-old is wanted for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration and Parole Violation.
According to Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) officials, Gandarilla has relatives and friends living in Fort Worth and El Paso.
In 1995, Gandarilla molested a 9-year-old girl as she slept in her Fort Worth bedroom. He then fled to California, but was soon arrested and extradited back to Texas.
After being tried and convicted of Indecency with a Child, Gandarilla was sentenced to 20 years in prison. He was paroled in 2005 and has been a fugitive since 2005.
Gandarilla also has criminal convictions for Assault of a Public Servant, Burglary, Vandalism and Driving while Intoxicated.
Juan Gandarilla stands 5’6” and weighs about 142 pounds. A tattoo on his chest reads “Maria Ramon”, another on his left arm says “Anthony 91.”
Gandarilla has been known to work as a cook, gardener and horse groomer.
Anyone with information about the Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitives or sex offenders is asked to contact authorities. There are four different ways to provide anonymous tips:
