DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Dallas police have arrested a man for a murder committed early Saturday.

Ayoul Akout was involved in a dispute with the unknown victim at 8231 Park Lane late Friday. Akout was injured in the dispute and was transported to a hospital. Upon being released from the hospital early Saturday, Akout returned to the same location he and the victim previously had been at. After locating the victim, Akout beat the victim to death with an unknown object.

Following the murder, Akout went to the 8400 block of Park Lane and called 911 to report that he had murdered someone. Once officers arrived, Akout lead them to the victim’s body.

Currently there is no available information on the victim, and the investigation is ongoing.
