Four Dead In North Texas Plane Crash

TERRELL (CBSDFW.COM)- Four people were found dead in a small plane crash 25 miles southeast of Terrell, Texas, the FAA confirmed.

A Beechcraft Bonanza took off from Northwest Regional Airport in Roanoke early this morning.

Around 9:40 a.m. air traffic controllers lost radar and radio contact with the aircraft close to the area where the downed plane was later found.

Police and Civil Air Patrol began a search a short time later.

The Federal Aviation Administration said 4 people were on the aircraft, and were found dead.

Their identities are unknown.

The FAA is investigating.
