DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – “Cloud Atlas” stars Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Hugh Grant and a host of A-list stars as people who continuously meet up over hundreds of years. It is directed by the Wachowski duo who brought us “The Matrix” trilogy and Tom Tykwer, who directed “Run Lola Run.”
Natalie Portman gave “Cloud Atlas” the novel to Lana Wachowski when they were filming “V for Vendetta” and Lana fell in love with it. Portman was originally promised a role in the film but had to back out when she got pregnant.
