DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) – With the Dallas Cowboys scraping their way to a 3-3 record so far this season many fans are wondering what the main problems are with the team, and those fans include many former Cowboys players.

“Where do I start” said Former Cowboys defensive lineman Ed ‘Too Tall’ Jones when he joined Elf & Slater and was asked what he things is the biggest problem with the team. ” I can’t point the finger at one particular area.” said Jones.

“I don’t see enough sense of urgency to take care of home field” he told Elf & Slater, referring to winning home games to stay strong in the playoff picture. “It doesn’t seem like, to me, that they’ve jelled.”

Being a former defensive great with the Cowboys, Jones reacted to the news of linebacker Sean Lee being sidelined for the remainder of the 2012 season saying it is “devastating”.  “You can’t go anywhere without a good team leader, and he (Lee) seemed to be that.” said Jones. “His other teammates are going to have to step-up and make up for it – he’s a big loss for the Dallas Cowboys.”
