BRYAN (AP) – A woman has been arrested and charged with phoning a bomb threat that forced evacuation last week of three buildings on the Texas State University campus in San Marcos.
Brittany Nicole Henderson of Bryan is booked into the Brazos County Jail in Bryan without bond. The 19-year-old former Texas State student is charged with third-degree felony making a terroristic threat and misdemeanor making a false alarm. No attorney is listed for her in jail records.
Texas A&M University police are also investigating whether the Oct. 18 threat against Texas State and a bomb threat the next day against A&M were related. The Oct. 19 threat prompted evacuation of the College Station campus and a building-by-building search.
Bryan is adjacent to College Station and 110 miles northeast of San Marcos.
